A Wedding Weekend at Grand Cascades Lodge
Lindsay’s planning journey started the way so many do, with a Google search. She knew she wanted her wedding photo experience to be a showstopper, but she was not sure exactly what that looked like yet. After a call with our team, we sent over a range of options to explore. Some couples take time to narrow things down, but Lindsay was set on one thing from the very beginning: the Vogue magazine photo booth.
From there, the rest of the lineup came together around it. On Friday, July 17, 2026, we brought everything to the stunning Grand Cascades Lodge at Crystal Springs Resort, a custom Step-N-Repeat backdrop for cocktail hour, a Traditional Photo Booth for the reception, and a glowing neon sign that said it all: “It was always you.”
A Stunning Setting at Crystal Springs Resort
Tucked into the mountains of Sussex County, Grand Cascades Lodge at Crystal Springs Resort is one of New Jersey’s most breathtaking wedding venues. With sweeping views, rustic stone architecture, and multiple event spaces, it gave Lindsay and Sean’s celebration room to flow from one experience to the next. Cocktail hour took place in the Grand Rotunda, with the reception following in the Big Sky Pavilion, and our team kept the photo fun going in both.
Cocktail Hour in the Grand Rotunda
Guests kicked off the evening in the Grand Rotunda, where our custom Step-N-Repeat backdrop set a red carpet tone from the very first drink. Designed with Lindsay and Sean’s names, monogram, and wedding date in classic black on white, the backdrop gave guests a polished photo op with single shot 6×4 prints to take home. Simple, elegant, and completely personalized to the couple.
The Vogue Magazine Photo Booth Everyone Kept Coming Back To
The star of the reception at the Big Sky Pavilion was the Vogue magazine photo booth. Guests stepped inside, struck their best cover model poses, and walked away with glossy 5×7 magazine style prints. The reaction was exactly what we love to see. Guests kept going back in for more photos all night, and Lindsay and Sean were right there with them.
There is something about stepping into a magazine cover that turns even the most camera shy guests into cover stars. It is one of the most talked about experiences we bring to events, and this wedding proved why.
How the Vogue Magazine Photo Booth Works
If you have never seen one in action, here is the idea. Guests step inside a life size magazine cover, framed exactly like the glossy pages they know from the newsstand. Our attendant snaps the shot, and moments later guests walk away with a printed 5×7 keepsake that looks like they just landed a cover feature. It is equal parts photo op and conversation piece, and once one group tries it, a line tends to form fast.
A Traditional Photo Booth for Classic Wedding Fun
Alongside the magazine box, our Traditional Photo Booth kept the party moving with 6×4 prints featuring three poses per session. Lindsay also rented a gorgeous flower wall from Fleur Galore Walls New York, which paired beautifully with our “It was always you” neon sign for a romantic photo moment guests could not resist.
The Night by the Numbers
Between two buildings and three photo experiences, this celebration kept our team busy from cocktail hour to last dance. Here is what the night looked like:
- 57 cocktail hour photos at the custom Step-N-Repeat
- 51 postcard prints and 153 individual photos from the Traditional Photo Booth
- 92 photos from the Vogue magazine photo booth
That is over 350 captured moments from one unforgettable night at Crystal Springs Resort.
