A 50th Birthday at the New Brunswick Performing Arts Center
The New Brunswick Performing Arts Center is known for its stages, but on Friday, October 9, 2026, it hosted a different kind of performance. Graceanne celebrated her 50th birthday with Fallfest Fancy, an evening of cocktails, dressed-up guests and gold fall accents in the heart of downtown New Brunswick. Milestone Photo Booth Rentals brought the Glam & Glow Photo Booth upstairs for the main party, giving every guest a polished portrait to take home.
About the New Brunswick Performing Arts Center
The New Brunswick Performing Arts Center, often called NBPAC, opened in September 2019 on Livingston Avenue in downtown New Brunswick. The building was designed by Elkus Manfredi Architects and pairs two modern theaters with residences in a 23-story tower.
NBPAC is home to George Street Playhouse and features the Elizabeth Ross Johnson Theater and the smaller Arthur Laurents Theater, along with rehearsal studios and a spacious lobby. Beyond its season of shows, the venue opens its spaces to private events, which makes it a striking setting for a milestone celebration just steps from the restaurants and nightlife of downtown New Brunswick.
Fallfest Fancy: The Celebration
Graceanne planned the night in two parts. Guests gathered for cocktails on the first floor from 7:00 to 8:00 PM, then moved upstairs to a private room on the third floor, where the party ran until 11:00 PM.
The dress code was clearly fancy. Guests arrived in velvet, florals and rich fall tones, which set the stage for a photo experience built around looking your best.
Planning the Glam & Glow Photo Booth
Graceanne knew she wanted a glam experience, and she wanted her guests to have a choice. The Glam & Glow Photo Booth gave her exactly that. Each guest could choose a timeless black and white glam portrait or a soft, color beauty portrait, all on a clean white backdrop with our custom high-end processing.
Our design team created a custom Fallfest Fancy logo for every print, with the event name, the date and New Brunswick Performing Arts Center framed in a gold ring. Graceanne asked for the leaves to lean gold rather than traditional autumn orange so the print would match the rest of her decor, and our designer updated it before the event.
How the Glam & Glow Photo Booth Works
1. Guests step up to a white backdrop and choose glam (black and white) or beauty (color).
2. Studio lighting and a high-end camera capture a single, flattering portrait.
3. Our custom processing runs on each photo the moment it is taken, smoothing skin and, for beauty portraits, brightening the colors.
4. The portrait prints on site with the custom event design, and everyone in the photo gets a copy.
5. Guests also receive a digital copy by text, and every photo is saved to an online gallery.

Planning a Private Celebration at NBPAC
If you are hosting an event at the New Brunswick Performing Arts Center, a few details make the night run smoothly:
Plan for two spaces. Cocktails on one floor and the party on another gives the night a natural flow. Place the photo booth where guests spend the most time.
Allow setup time. Our team arrives two hours before start time to load in and set up, so confirm elevator access and load-in details with the venue in advance.
Match the design to the decor. A custom print design in your colors ties the photos to the rest of the event.
Choose a backdrop that fits the room. A clean white backdrop keeps the look elegant and lets the outfits stand out.
