When Monroe Township High School invited us back for their 2026 senior prom, it was proof that the right NJ prom photo booth rental does more than fill a corner of the room. It becomes part of the night students remember. This was our second year working with MTHS, this time alongside a new advisor, Molly, who reached out early to start planning. We had actually met Molly at last year’s prom, where she first mentioned wanting to bring us back, and she followed through the moment planning season opened.
Molly came to us with a “vintage” concept in mind, and we built a few custom ideas around it. But word travels fast in a senior class. The students had heard about the year before and wanted the exact same three experiences: AI Sketch Robots, our Traditional Photo Booth, and the 360 Booth. When the seniors are asking for your booths by name, you deliver.
The prom took place in the banquet hall at iPlay America, a room big enough to hold the roughly 750 seniors who packed the floor under the theme “Meet Me at Midnight.” The main hall was dressed beautifully in blue and silver.
Our activation was set up in a smaller connecting room with no decor of its own, so we brought the color with us. We rolled out two 20 foot blue carpets, one to organize the line for the Traditional Photo Booth and the other to guide students from that experience over to the AI Sketch Robots. Because we had worked this same space the year before, we knew it needed a lift, so we asked the DJ in advance to bring extra uplighting and set it to blue to match the theme. A shoutout to AJH Entertainment for making that happen and keeping the energy high all night.
Every service had a crowd, but the classic Traditional Photo Booth was the clear favorite. The line stayed long from the moment doors opened at 6 until the last song at 10. Students loved grabbing the props, crowding in with friends, and walking away with a print in hand. Prom crowds move in waves, and this one never let up. Based on the demand, we are already recommending two Traditional Booths for next year so no one has to wait.
The AI Sketch Robots were the “how is this real” moment of the night. Here is how it works: you take a photo, choose your theme and art style, and then watch a robotic arm sketch your caricature live, right in front of you. It handles small groups too, depending on the style. Students could not believe a machine was drawing them by hand, and the finished sketches became instant keepsakes to take home. Signage showing sample sketches helped the line understand what they were about to get, since many first assume it is a standard booth.
Students were able to choose from the following art styles:
For the 360 Booth, we ran it in portrait orientation to show off the students’ full outfits, the dresses, the suits, the whole look. Add a slow motion effect and the right music and every clip felt like a highlight reel. We designed a simple custom overlay to match the sketch paper and Traditional Booth prints, with “Meet Me at Midnight” along the bottom and a subtle starry sky in the corners. The outro carried the school logo and “2026 MTHS Senior Prom” while keeping the theme text in place. Text to phone sharing was built in, so students had their videos before the next song ended.
"Milestone made it so easy. They reached out, planned everything with me, and the students were talking about the booths all night."
Molly, Monroe Township High School
"The energy in that room was unreal. The Traditional Booth line never stopped, and watching kids react to the Sketch Robots never gets old."
Marissa, Milestone Photo Booth Rentals
The numbers from the night show just how busy all three experiences stayed from 6:00 to 10:00 pm.
For a single prom, that is a lot of prints, sketches, and videos moving through three stations back to back. It also tells us exactly where the demand was, which is why a second Traditional Booth tops our recommendations for next year.
A night this size runs on a strong crew. On site for MTHS we had Shayn, Marissa, Emily, Carolina, Rohan, and Ryan, keeping three experiences moving, lines organized, and students smiling from setup to load out.
The relationship keeps growing, too. Molly hands the reins to a new advisor for the 2027 senior class, and the advisor for the class of 2028 was already at this year’s prom and has since reached out to plan ahead.
Whether it is a senior prom, a school gala, or a district celebration, a well planned NJ prom photo booth rental gives students something to talk about long after the last dance. We bring premium setups, custom design, and a hands on team to schools across New Jersey.
