A Fitler Club Wedding Rebuilt From the Ground Up
Alan and Alanna’s Fitler Club wedding in Philadelphia almost didn’t happen the way they first planned. We met Alan and Alanna at a bridal show in January 2024. They had planned to marry in Israel, but after the events of October 7, 2023, they had to start over with a new plan and only a few months to pull it together.
They wanted a celebration that honored their Jewish heritage and gave friends and family a way to leave their mark on the day. The bride told us she wanted something “more than your average photo booth,” so we showed her our live photo mosaic wall, and she was hooked. By the end of the bridal show, their May 2024 wedding at Fitler Club in Philadelphia was booked, with a live photo mosaic wall at the center of it.
Two Booths Feeding One Wall
To fill the mosaic, we ran two capture stations. During cocktail hour, our Enchanted Beauty Roaming Mirror Booth moved through the room, sending photos, boomerangs and GIFs straight to guests’ phones.
For the rest of the night, a traditional DSLR photo booth printed 2×6 photo strips and 4×6 postcards for guests to take home. Every photo from both booths also became a tile on the wall.
A Border Made for Signatures
Photo mosaic walls are rare at weddings, and we gave this one a twist: a wide outer border where guests could sign their names and write messages to the couple. It was the first mosaic of its kind we had built, and the finished piece became a portrait and a guest book in one.
The couple chose the main image on site, right after their family photos, so the mosaic captured a moment from the day itself. We worked with their photographer to make it happen.
Planning Around the Timeline
A live mosaic has to finish before the night ends, so timing drove every decision. We sized the wall to match the wedding timeline and the number of photos we expected, and worked with a print shop on a tight deadline for the custom board and border.
Our team coordinated with the planner and photographer so the image could be chosen after family photos, then used the time before the reception to prepare the mosaic. Every piece of equipment was prepped ahead, so setup on site was quick.

The bride spent much of the evening inviting guests to the wall. By the end of the night, the couple had a mosaic built from the photos and signatures of the people who celebrated with them.
